Fund This: Broken Frontier Kickstarter…

Yep, our illustrious friends over at Broken Frontier have launched into the Kickstartery Comic business with a massive debut anthology of work. They’re pitching for a very large $58k, which seems a big amount, but given that it’s a big book, full colour, 250+ pages, oversized hardcover, it’s actually a reasonable goal, especially when you consider that $32k of that target is set aside to pay the more than 40 creators alongside a hefty $12k printing costs for the 1500 copy print run.

As for what it’s about…

As you’d expect, the book has a little of everything, an anthology of creator owned tales, made by familiar names and new faces, men and women who’ve worked on all types of comic genres, from superheroes to very alt-comix. There’s 40 of them in all, some you’ll know, some you wont, including…Alison Sampson, David Hine, EdieOP, INJ Culbard, Karrie Fransman, Margueritte Bennett, Mark Stafford, Nathan Fox, PJ Holden, Ryan Kelly, Toby Cypress.

You can find out more here at the Kickstarter. It’s a really impressive looking book, featuring an impressive list of talent.

The usual rewards apply as you’d expect, including these four lovely prints from Robbi Rodriguez, Toby Cypress, PJ Holden, Robert Sammelin…
