If Only Comics: Gerard Way’s Batman

Former My Chemical Romance frontman and talented comic writer Gerard Way is currently writing The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys over at Dark Horse. His previous comics work was the really interesting, decidedly Morrison-esque Umbrella Academy. But last week we found out via Way’s Twitter that there were grand plans for a Batman series from DC, that got as far as approval from DC and preliminary sketch work from Way.

However, Way’s days may be a little quieter now, so there’s always the chance he could return to it. Unlikely perhaps, but who knows. For now we can just look at the prelim artwork and think… if only…
