Animation: Slow Derek

Published On February 20, 2013 | By Joe Gordon | Animation, Film TV & Theatre

Dan Ojari’s Slow Derek is a great wee piece of stop-motion animation about a man in a humdrum life and job, whose life is changed suddenly after considering how rapidly the earth beneath his feet is spinning through space. I’ve seen this before, must have been at the Edinburgh Film Fest last year when I caught a couple of sessions of animated shorts (always some interesting works pop up there), it’s been doing the film festival rounds and now it is nice to see the whole short movie on Vimeo where everyone can see it:
