1836 cover

That’s a really striking cover by Leigh Gallagher.

1836 1

Inside – couple of new strips this time round. Cover featured Defoe from Pat Mills and Leigh Gallagher promises 1669 zombie action, whilst Terrific Tales by David Baillie and Will Morris (yes, he of The Silver Darlings) is a neat done in one tale.

Continuing strips are Sinister Dexter by Dan Abnett and John Burns and Cadet Anderson by Alan Grant and Carlos Ezquera. Dredd this issue is another done in one episode, written by Rob Williams and drawn by a returning Trevor Hairsine (Cla$$ War, Captain America, X-Men). ‘Skulls’ finds Dredd pinned down by a Judge-killing gang of thieves, only to receive help from an unexpected – and unwelcome – quarter.
