Comics: MCM crew planning Scottish comics bash

The organisers of the popular MCM Expos are expanding again – now in addition to their London, Birmingham and Manchester shows they are planning their first foray north of the border to Scotland, with the MCM Scotland Comic Con planned for August 31st of next year in the SECC, Glasgow, and as well as the comics we can expect MCM’s usual mix of other fine geek fare, as the show “will feature everything from new movies, much-loved sci-fi shows and top comic creators to the latest videogames, anime and manga …plus a great special guest line-up, of course!” I’m really pleased to hear such a major events series is going to be setting up in Scotland’s largest city, I’m just crossing my fingers that this doesn’t end up conflicting with a good comics or science fiction event at the Edinburgh Book Fest in August!
