The Stan Lee Excelsior Awards

I’m sure many of your remember us blogging about the fab idea that is the Stan Lee Excelsior Awards (see here), the brain child of Paul Register and an event which has gotten hundreds of schoolkids involved in reading and discussing comics and, just as important, getting them involved in the selection of their favourite as the winner of the first ever award (which Stan the Man gave his personal blessing to) – the kids picked Yana Toboso’s Black Butler manga. Well for those of us who couldn’t be there Paul tells us that there is now a cool video up recording the events, including contributions from Kevin F Sutherland and Bryan Talbot:
