Half-Life 2 Sweeps BAFTA Games Awards

Half-Life 2 swept the BAFTA games awards this week, taking no less than six awards including the coveted Best Game and, reflecting the modern broadband online experience Half-Life 2 also took the Best Online Game.

The very fact that BAFTA now run a games category (this was the second ceremony) illustrates how film, TV, music and gaming are converging and inter-mixing to provide players with a truly immersive, interactive experience. So, if you’ve been thinking ‘hmmm, I really fancy that game’ now’s the time!
